Three tracks into A Sunny Day In Glasgow’s fetching new EP, a wave of déjà vu crashed over me.  Where have we heard that gentle, babbling-brook sort of cascade before?  That exact acoustic guitar line, repeated until it’s buried under abrasive distortions?  Not where you’d expect, as it turns out: this dream-pop nugget directly echoes “You Know Everything,” a doom-folk number by none other than Swans.  Just goes to show that musical taxonomists will always be playing catch-up.
